Theron Jimmy Russell, age 73, of Alma, Arkansas, formally of Ozark, Arkansas died Saturday June 18, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Theron was a Baptist and a disabled Veteran with the United States Army. Theron was born February 4, 1949 to Theron Seldon and Mary Hazel Wisdom Russell. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Peggy Kendrick Russell; one son, Anthony Russell; one sister, Brenda Kay Russell; and one great grandson Tyler James Russell Charlton.
Theron is survived by one daughter in law, Crystal Russell of Alma; two granddaughters of the home, Hannah and Kylie Russell; one grandson, Devan Charlton and wife Liz of Van Buren, Arkansas; two great grandchildren, Alaina Brooke and Eastyn Charlton; five sisters, Sue Davis, Patricia Byrd, Nancy Orrick, Teresa Franklin, all of Ozark, and Judy Harrod of Mulberry, Arkansas.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday June 21, 2022 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel 2315 West Commercial Street Ozark, with Brother James Edward Kendrick officiating, with burial at Highland Cemetery Highway 64 West, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Devan Charlton, Terryice Hewing, Mike Franklin, Robert Harrod, Brian Orrick, and Jasiah Releford.
