August 15, 1927 - June 22, 2001
James Henry Gober, 73 of Ozark died Friday, June 22,2001 in a Little Rock hospital.
He was born August 15, 1927 in Star City to John Henry Gober and Maude Monroe Gober.
He was a supervisor for Diamond Shamrock, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.
He is survived by his wife, Frances; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and James Pelton of Ozark and Sandy and Kevin Hall of Boise City, Idaho; three sons, James and daughter-in-law Valerie Gober of Ozark, Chuck Jones of Crossville, Tennessee, and Ricky Jones of Springdale; two brothers, Dee Gober of Ozark and Monroe Gober of Altus; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with Brother Virgil Luke officiating. Burial was at Highland Cemetery in Ozark.
Pallbearers were Chad Binz, J.J. Gober, Jonathan Thompson, Jimmy Gober, Timmothy Pascale and Josh Sanders.
Honorary Pallbearers were Ed Cagle, Oscar Debez, Paul Klemmer, Jack Mayner, Lowell Byrd and Dee Ramsey.
