HOLLISTER, Mo. - Marie J. Bauer Leding, of Hollister, Mo., formerly of Fort Smith, Ark., passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008, in Branson, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A "Bud" Leding and a daughter, Rose Ann Leding. She was a mother and housewife. She was a former member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Smith for many years.
Rosary will be said 7 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2008, in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Smith with interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by six daughters Mary Heiss and husband Fred of Hollister, Mo., Catherine Klober and husband Ron of Maumelle, Ark., Cecilia Sloat and husband Don of Conway, Ark., Celestine Eichler and husband John of Fayetteville, Ark., Theresa "Treda" Jenkins and husband Steve of Plano, Texas, and Deloris Edwards of Cordova, Tenn., five sons William Leding and wife Barbara of Clearwater, Fla., Anthony Leding of Fort Smith, John Leding and wife Anne of Euless, Texas, Patrick Leding and wife Shana of Lowell, Ark. and Michael Leding and wife Joelene of Barling, Ark., one sister Catherine Walbe of La Marque, Texas, two brothers John Bauer of Fort Smith and Boniface Bauer of Ratcliff, Ark., 31 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
