January 31, 1950 - May 18, 2017

Surrounded by her family Leta Diane Hansen, 67, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado, Arkansas after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.
Diane was born on January 31, 1950 to James Everette Williams and Cora Vene Daniels Williams. She graduated from Norphlet High School in 1968, and 2 months later married her high school sweetheart to whom she stayed married for nearly 49 years. She was a housewife and mother for years after her children were born and then worked at Smackover State Bank for 27 years where she met some of her lifelong friends.

Diane was a devoted wife, mother, and MeMe. She loved her family, and her family loved her just as much. She loved to fish and deer hunt. Bowling and playing softball were some of her favorite pastimes and she was excellent at both, but spending time with her family most definitely brought her more joy than anything in the world, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, her parents, 3 sisters, Pearla Womack, Jamie Hodge, and Margie Marilyn Williams and her father and mother-in-law, C.F. and Martha Hansen.

Diane is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Ronald F. Hansen, her 3 sons and 1 daughter, Chris Hansen, Mandy Bishop (Tim) of Norphlet, Arkansas, Timmy Hansen (Julie) of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, and Kevin Hansen (Emily) of El Dorado, Arkansas, 16 grandchildren including Evan Covas who visited her nearly every day for 6 months, and her best friend and sister-in-law, Dianne Kegley and her husband James (who devoted all of their time helping take care of Diane) of Norphlet, also three brothers, Marvin (Gayle) Williams of El Dorado, Randy (Debra) and Robby (Dohnna) Williams of Norphlet, and one sister, Marsha Welch of Florida and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Bryant, Jimmy Watts, Max Holder, Luther McCulough, Dean Womack, Casey Williams, Allen Williams, and Todd Bain. Honorary pallbearer: Wesley McCulough.

The family will be at 404 Baugh Street in Norphlet. The visitation will be Sunday, May 21 at Young's Funeral Home from 7-9 pm.

The services will be at 2 pm on Monday, May 22 at Young's Chapel with Bro. Doug Wills and Bro. Gerald Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Memorials may be made to Life Touch Hospice, 2301 Champagnolle Rd., El Dorado, Arkansas
