Trial of David Glidewell on a charge of negligent homicide in connection with the death Saturday of John H. Kramer, 77, 3502 Barry Avenue, was postponed in municipal court Monday to March 26 by Judge Thomas C. Pitts. Bond was sent at $500. Glidewell, 21, 611 North Thirtieth Street, is charged with driving a car which struck and fatally injured Kramer, a pedestrian, about 8 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of North B and North Eighteenth Street. The charge of negligent homicide is customary after a traffic fatality. Kramer's death brought to two the number of deaths on the city streets since the first of the year. The first was that of a negro minister, Rev. J.C. Jackson, 73, who was killed near the intersection of North Greenwood Avenue and North O Street January 19th. Jackson was also a pedestrian. -Fort Smith Southwest American, March 18, 1953
