Jettie Faye Moreland was a woman of faith and hope. Her faith and family were the most important to her. To know her was to love her. She passed from this world on December 9th, 2021. She was born on June 21, 1927 in McGintytown, Arkansas. Her parents were Pete McGinty and Arlie Cardin McGinty. She was a lifelong member of the McGintytown Church of God.
Jettie worked many years as a top seamstress at the shoe factory in Conway. She later became a caregiver for her parents and aunt and uncle.

She read Psalm 91 every morning. She was affectionately known as Mom, Granny, Aunt Jettie, and the Angel of McGintytown.
She was married to the love of her life, Jake Moreland, for 30 years. They had two children, Jim (JoAnn) Moreland of Greenbrier, Arkansas and Keith (Debbie) Moreland of Conway, Arkansas.

Her grandchildren are Nathan (Jess) Moreland of Greenbrier, Brandon (Natalie) Moreland of Greenbrier, Hannah (Jonathan) Colvin of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Toni (Darren) Smith of Vilonia, Arkansas, and Bart (Ashley) Rash of Russellville, Arkansas.

She has two very special friends in Connie McGinty and Carola Landry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Moreland, her parents, Pete and Arlie McGinty and two brothers, JW McGinty and Tommy McGinty.
