Kenneth Rollen Reed, 80, of Greenbrier, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009 at Conway Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 11, 1929, in Wooster, a son of the late Alfred and Rosie (Nixon) Reed.
Mr. Reed retired from AmTran after 30 years and was an Army National Guard veteran.
He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and attended the McGintytown Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Emma Lois (Cardin) Reed, a son, Ronnie Gene Reed, a brother, Harold Gene Reed, and a grandson, Terry Lynn Alberson.
He is survived by two sons, Kenneth E. Reed, Sr. of Enola and Roger D. Reed, Sr. of Conway; two daughters, Donna K. Prince of Holland and Cindy R. Weldon of Conway; one sister, Willie Joyce Stanbaugh of Greenbrier; 9 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Burial will follow at McGintytown Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chris Reed, Roger D. Reed, Jr., Justin Weldon, Charles Taylor, Corey Colclasure, and Benji Singley. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth E. Reed, Jr. and Preston Curnett.

Emma Lois Reed, 70, of Greenbrier, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2008.
She was born May 12, 1937 in McGinty Town to the late Ed Cardin and Tressie McGinty Cardin.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Gene Reed; brother, Don Cardin; sister, Ella Dean Cardin.
She was a homemaker and a member of McGintytown Church of God.
Survivors are her husband of 54 years, Kenneth R. Reed Sr. of Greenbrier; sons, Kenneth Edward Reed, Sr. and wife Sandra of Conway, Roger Dale Reed, Sr. and wife Rose Ann of Conway; daughters, Donna Kay Prince and husband Danny Joe of Conway, Cynthia Renee Weldon and fianc� Paul Castainier of Conway; nine grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; brothers, Wilkie Cardin and wife Ann of Guy, Lewis J. Cardin and wife Sandy of Holland; sisters, Maydean Hammett and husband Lonis of Greenbrier, Gail Black and Nona Byrd, both of Greenbrier; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier with Brother Tom New officiating. Burial will be in McGintytown Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday.
Pallbearers will be Charles Taylor, Justin Weldon, Roger Reed Jr., Kenny Reed, Jr., Danny Prince, Steve Snowden.
Honorary pallbearers are Preston Curnett, Kenny Reed Sr., Roger Reed Sr., Lewis J. Cardin, and Wikie Cardin.
