Agnes Carver, 92, of Hamburg, died Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett. Mrs. Carver was a native of Thorton Arkansas and a resident of Hamburg for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Crossett. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Lamar Carver in 1990 and Jerry Walton in 1960; two sons, Robbie and Floyd Walton; a grandson, Travis Murphy, Jr.; a granddaughter, April Marie Greer and her parents, Mack and Dura Best Cathy.

She is survived by five sons, Joe Cathy of Hamburg, Jerry Walton and wife, Judy, of Crossett, Bill Walton and wife, Brenda, of Hamburg, Doyle Walton and wife, Carolyn, of Crossett and Carlton Walton and wife, Debbie, of Rover; two daughters, Mary Murphy of Hamburg and Nadine Greer and husband, Tommy, of Parkdale; a special friend, Ruby Raines; 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the First United Pentecostal Church with Bro. Larry Hickman officiating. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery. Pallbearers are Guy Gonzales, Jimmy Fuqua, Dennis Miles, Dewayne Miles, Joey Walton and A.J. Delk. Honorary pallbearers are Nick Huff, Clarence Kelly, Clifton Murphy, Leslie Walton and Rommy Greer.

Visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m., Monday at the church in the fellowship hall.
