Nora Brown, 68, of Montrose, AR passed away on May 5, 2020 at Lake Village Rehabilitation and
Care Center in Lake Village, Arkansas.
Nora was born on January19, 1952 to Paul Dupree and Mildred Miller Dupree in Thebes, Arkansas. Her husband, Thurman Brown, preceded her in death.
Nora Confessed her life in Christ at an early age at St. Peter's Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a faithful choir member until her transitioning began to take place. She sewed 50 years faithfully with her Superior Uniform work family and was devoted to the Montrose & Portland Community Choir.
She was best known for being a strong, supportive and loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
Awaiting her gracious homecoming are her husband Thurman T. Brown, Sr., her parents Mr. and Mrs. Dupree and one brother Sonny Dupree.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son Thurman T. Brown, Jr. of Montrose, AR, Three daughters Becky (James) Brown-Evans of Little Rock, AR; Karen (Eric)Holmes of Portland, AR and Telisha Brown-Woods of Little Rock, AR; One brother Frankie Dupree of Lake Village, AR.; Four sisters Dorothy (Lee Fred) of Crossett, AR.; Ella (Larry Woods) of Montrose, AR.; Jean (Freddie) Clark of Sacramento, CA and Sharon K. Johnson of Crossett, AR.; Nine grandchildren Demarcus Brown, James Anthony Evans, III, Eric (EJ) Cam'Ron and Kyran Holmes, Taylor, Tanner and Trinity
Woods and Tristyn Brown and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
