Rita Joyce Barbee, age 67, of Montrose died Monday, November 21, 2016 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake
Village, AR. Rita was born April 30, 1949 in Elaine, AR. She is the daughter of the late Carl Albert Cotton and the late
Maddie Blanch (Pamplin) Cotton. She was a retired beauty operator and she was a Baptist.
Proceeded in death by her parents, four brothers, Raymond, Lavowl, Bill and Dan Cotton; three sisters, Inez Copper, Allene
Shaffers, and Jim Nell Mooney.
Survivors are her husband of 52 years, Charles Barbee, two sons, Kenneth "Bo" Barbee and wife Rhonda of Montrose,
Shawn L. Barbee and wife Lawanda of Montrose; two brothers, Kenneth Cotton of Little Rock, and Doyle Cotton of Fort
Worth, TX; two sisters, Sue Graham of Montrose, and Sandy Naron of Mountain View, AR; six grandchildren, Brandon
Barbee, Drew Barbee, Hailey Barbee, Harper Barbee, Jonathan Armstrong and Kristen Redmond and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, November 25 at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. at Bishop ­King Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.
Larry Donaldson officiating. Burial will be following in Montrose City Cemetery in Montrose, AR under the direction of Bishop ­King Funeral Home
of Lake Village.
