Margarett "Markie" Vandiver, 89, of Little Rock and formerly of Helena-West Helena, died Thursday, May 27, 2010. She was born Jan. 30, 1921 at Stillwater, Okla., the daughter of James David and Mattie Gray Markland. She attended Stephens College in Missouri and received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Oklahoma A & M, now Oklahoma State University, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. She was a member of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Thomas "Tom" Jackson Bosmyer, Ralph Bunch and Bill Vandiver; a daughter, The Rev. Canon Dr. Peggy Bosmyer; and a sister, Jimmie Jean Markland.

She leaves a daughter, Judy Quattlebaum of Little Rock; step-children, Barry Vandiver (Beth) of Salem, Ore., and Suzanne Baer (Teddy) of Gulfport, Miss.; a son-in-law, The Rev. Canon Dr. Dennis Campbell of Little Rock; five grandchildren, Tom Young (Melissa) of West Memphis, Michael Campbell of St. Helena, Calif., Larnie Campbell, Hannah Campbell and Caitlin Campbell, all of Little Rock; and great-grandchildren, Riley Young and Jordan Young of West Memphis.

A memorial service will be held 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church with The Rev. Canon Dr. Christopher Keller officiating.
