Clyde R. Perkins passed away at his home on January 2, 2023 after bravely fighting cancer for a number of years. He is survived by the love of his life, Pat, whom he was married to for 57 years; niece, Cindy Lampkin and nephew, Arnie Holcomb.Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Avanelle Perkins; sister, Carol Baggett; three half-brothers and 2 half-sisters. He served in the United States Air Force for 6 years. Clyde worked for the Department of the Army at Pine Bluff Arsenal for 40 years. He retired as the Chief of the Emergency Operations Center. He received many awards over his career for his exceptional service to the Pine Bluff Chemical Activity, Pine Bluff Arsenal and the Department of the Army. Clyde was also a ham radio operator, KD5XR.Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with a graveside service following at 1:00pm at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.
