Mrs. Berniece Jordan, 89, of Hamburg, died Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Hillcrest Care & Rehabilitation Center in Prescott. Mrs. Jordan was a native of Monticello and a resident Hamburg for most of her life. She was a licensed Cosmetologist for over 50 years and a member of the Martinville Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Jordan; a daughter, Faith Henderson; a son, Russell Henderson; her parents, Bunyan & Fannie Williams Riley; a brother, Barnes Riley and a sister, Jean Lawson.
She is survived by two sons, Douglas Henderson and wife, Carolyn, of Prescott and Rodger Henderson and wife, Sylvia, of Madison Heights, Virginia; a brother-in-law, Doyle Jordan of Crossett; two granddaughters, Carrie Nivens and husband, Randy, and Christie Cannon; five great-grandchildren, Robert Haynie, Chas Haynie, Abbey Nivens, Kori Cannon and Haley Cannon all of Prescott.
Graveside funeral services and burial are 3 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in the Flat Creek Cemetery with Rev. Allen Hagood officiating.
