Mary Ann Sakalousky Denson, 87, of Crossett died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Ashley County Medical Center. She was born on March 31, 1923, in Homestead Park (now Munhall), PA, to Lithuanian immigrants Markas (Mark) and Magdalena Tumas (Thomas) Sakalauskas (Sakalousky). She had lived in Fremont, CA, for 35 years before retiring to Crossett in 1993. She spent most of her working years in the women's clothing business, both in sales and management. She spent her last five working years managing Security Uniform and Firearms Co., a business in which she and her husband were partners.

Survivors include one son, Bradley Scott Denson of Fremont; one sister, Isabel Brown of Fresno, CA; three sisters-in-law, Eleanor Farmer and husband Stovall of Hot Springs, Sue Bays and Nancy Woods, both of Crossett; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank E. Denson; five brothers, Bronislovas (born and died in Lithuania), John, Anthony, William and Charles Sakalousky.

Grave-side services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 4, at Flat Creek Cemetery with Bro. Boyd Savage officiating. Pallbearers were Jeff Woods, Anthony Woods, Steve Bays, Ronnie Rickman, Richard Lusby and Leland Worrel. Arrangements were by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett. Guest book at www.jonesservice.com.
