Cleo Wilkins, 86, of Camden passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011. He was born in Ione, AR on January 18, 1925.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two children, Gail Wilkins and L. O. Wilkins, brother, Orester Wilkins and a sister Juanita Wilkins Rice.
Mr. Wilkins is survived by his wife of 65 years, Alvis Wilkins, sister, Johnnie Faye Bell of Glenpool, OK; four sons, Donnie Wilkins and wife, Edith of Channelview, TX, Ricky Wilkins and wife, Diana of Arkoma, OK, Buddy Wilkins and wife, Robbie of Camden, AR and Danny Wilkins of Camden, AR; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy during World War II on the USS Biloxi from 1943 until 1947. He retired from International Paper Company in 1987 after 35 years of service. He was fondly known by his co-workers as "Beanhead".
The family will receive friends at Proctor Funeral Home Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 6 until 9 PM
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 14, 2011 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial to follow at Bethesda Cemetery
