Married: September 12, 1986
James “JR” Renfro was born in Camden, Arkansas to Conley and Auzradean Renfro on February 12, 1938. He went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2019.
He was a husband, father and Uncle Monkey and Papaw to grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was an Upholster for 50 years. His motto was “Open when I’m here, closed when I’m gone.”
He loved to go fishing and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and many other loved ones.
He is survived by his wife, Lou Stover Renfro of Grandview, Texas; his children, Terry Burch of Grandview, Texas, Sam Renfro and wife Karen of Williamsburg, Kansas; Jammie McIntosh and husband, David of Alvarado, Texas; brothers, John Renfro of Texarkana, Arkansas, Bill Renfro and wife Marie of Leonard, Texas, Orris Renfro of Camden, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas Chapel with Rev. Sam Renfro and Rev. Dave Siefert officiating. Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the Bethesda Cemetery, Camden Arkansas.
Mr. Renfro’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers
Proverbs 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.
