J. T. (Uncle Taylor) Daniel, age 75 of Camden, Rt. 2, died in a Memphis Hospital Sunday, a life-long resident of Ouachita County and member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Edwin Prince, Mrs. Wallace Slaughter and Mrs. Tom Slaughter, all of Camden, two sons, Elmer and Neville Daniel, both of Camden, two brothers, Asa and J. H. Daniel both of Camden and six grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Bethesda Church with Rev. Thomas Lindley and Rev. C. E. Wilkins officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home. Casket bearers will be: Cyrus Marks, Grover Linebarier, Jr., Bill Pryor, James Daniel, Freeman Daniel, John Edward Brian, Otho Roe, and Erna Russell, Honorary bearers are: C. G. Snyder, Mike Garner, Marvin Hunt, Dewitt Cook, Sam Horn, D. A. Braswell, Sadler Martin, Dr. J. B. Jameson, Lamar Smead, Harry Robertson, Milas Reynolds, and J. A. Gibbons.
