Anita R. Kelley, 76, of Crossett died Saturday, January 24, 2004, at her home. A native of Bastrop, LA, she was a homemaker and a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Tracy Kelley of Crossett; three daughters, Shannon Wendtlendy of Crossett, Barbara Lynn Cook of Natchitoches, LA, and Brenda Carol Johnson of Cabot; two sisters, Beatrice Rice of Crossett and Reba Yates of Sheridan; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy K. Kelley; one sister, Myrna Switzer; and her parents, Tom and Blanche Shelton. The remains were cremated with no memorial service planned. Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg was in charge of arrangements.
Buried at the foot of the graves of Bettie Boyd (1885-1959) & Roscoe Norwood George. Marked with a small white plastic cross.
