Erma Jean Williams Palmer, 87 of Camden, AR died Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Ouachita County Medical Center. She was born February 09, 1930 in Homer, LA to Harvery Newton and Ida Mae Wepfer Williams. She was of Baptist faith. She was retired from General Dynamics and she loved to play cards (Rook), dominos, Zilt and puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Raymond H. Palmer, Sr.; parents, Harvery Newton and Ida Mae Wepfer Williams; son, Richard N. Palmer; daughter, Judy Palmer Stennett; son-in-law, Finis Troy Nations; brothers, Thomas and Douglas Williams; sisters, Lucille Nalls, Louise Daniel and Marie Bass.
She is survived by daughters, Joan Landon (Johnny) and Julie Nations; son, Raymond H. Palmer, Jr. (Susie); a special nephew, Lonnie (Skipper) Williams of Tennessee; eleven grandchildren, Mona Landon Williams, Missy Johnson, Tim Johnson, (Jessica), Agee Johnson, Lee Nations (Lori), Shane Palmer, Anthony Palmer, Chris Palmer, Ashley Palmer, Larichia Canada and Jennifer Stennett; nineteen great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00AM Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Bethesda Cemetery. Bro. Robert Thornton will officiate the services. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday.
