February 2, 1941 - June 4, 2020
Mary Ellen Daniel Vicknair, 79, met her Lord and Saviour face to face on June 4, 2020. Mary was born on February 2, 1941 to Henry Luther and Helen Daniel. Mary was a graduate of the 1959 Class of Fairview High School. Mary was an industrious person who gave her all to everything she did. Her work history included Franklin’s Department Store, many years at OTASCO, General Dynamics, Ouachita County Medical Center and Carrier. Mary was forgiven of her sins and saved by Jesus Christ. Her church membership was at Camden Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mary was a wonderful artist, loved to read and to travel. Mary and her parents saw much of the United States on their yearly visits to see her sister Betty and family.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Henry Daniel; grandparents, Joe Wesley and Mary Lavender Erwin and James Clay and Joise Daniel.
Mary is survived by her sister, Betty Thomas and husband, Gene; two brothers, William (Bill) Daniel and Ricky Daniel and wife, Kathy; sister-in-law, Brenda Daniel Grimes and husband, Gary; beloved nieces and nephews; Doug Thomas, Dana Hultgren and husband, Mark, Billy Jack Daniel and wife, Becca Jo, Sean Daniel, Chad Daniel and wife, Amy, Kristina Covington, Casey Daniel and fiancee, Shanda and Michael Daniel and wife, Jennifer. Mary was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and cousin who will be missed by all that knew her.
Memorials may be made to Camden Cumberland Presbyterian Church 1545 California Ave SW, Camden, AR 71701.
Private graveside service will be held Saturday. Reverend Nicholas Chambers will officate the service. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery. To sign the online guest register visit www.proctorfuneralhome.com. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
