Ruby Jewell Gay, age 83 of Fairfield Bay, AR formerly of Camden, AR passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011. She was born February 06, 1928 to Nelson Miles and Zady Harriett Darter McFadden in Ozark, AR. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Willis Gay; daughter, Doris Sue Gay; brothers, Cecil, Ray and Lloyd McFadden; sisters, Hazel Mitchell and Jean Brumly.
She is survived by her son, Dwayne Gay and wife, Brenda of Damascus, AR; daughter, Brenda Womack and husband, Jim of Drasco, AR; sister, Dorothy Brown and husband, Cecil of Hartman, AR; brother, Harold McFadden and wife, Carlyn of Woodburn, OR; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Bethesda Cemetery. Reverend John Burleson will officiate the service. Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday before the service. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
