Mary Doris Wilkins, 83, of Louann, AR went home to be with her Lord and King on July 4, 2014. She was born January 11, 1931 to Fred and Hassie Smith in Bradley Co., AR. She was a Godly wife, mother, and grandmother who prayed to her Jesus fervently for her family and others. She loved to praise The Lord in song, with her hands she helped those in need.

She was the first of 5 siblings. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Fred and Hassie Smith; husband of 47 years, Robert E. Wilkins; daughter, Sharon Rose Sweatman; granddaughter, April Dawn Sweatman; great-granddaughter, Casey Lynn Adams; sister, Judith Ann Smith; mother and father-in-law Rev. C.E and Ida Bell Wilkins.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Kay Franklin and husband Jim; Bobbi Sue Adams and companion, Eric Reep; grandsons, Tommy Adams and wife Michelle, Jonathan Franklin, Brandon Adams and wife Teresa, Christopher Franklin and wife Melissa; granddaughters, Elaine Sweatman Koon and husband Derrick, Amber Faith Stuckey and husband Bert; twelve, great-grandchildren; two, step great-grandchildren; three, step-great-great grandchildren; brothers, Cecil Smith and wife Bonita, J.T Smith and wife Pat, Buddy Smith and wife Gladys; sister-in-law, Mandy Taylor; a host of nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Connie and Adelle Nix.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, AR.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, July 7, 2014 at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Bethesda Cemetery. Reverend Marvin Launius and Reverend Charles Hutcheson will officiate the services.
Pallbearers will be: Tommy Adams, Jonathan Franklin, Brandon Adams, Chris Franklin, Bert Stuckey, Randy Smith and John Sandiford. The Family would like to send a special thanks to UAMS, Ouachita County Medical Center Hospice, and all who have prayed for her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ouachita County Medical Center Hospice In Her Memory.
Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
