ROGERS — Charles Edward Aldrich Sr., 84, of Rogers passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Fayetteville. He was born March 3, 1928, in Clarinda, Iowa, the on of Lester E. and Margie Heivilin Aldrich.

He served in the United States Army and was a teacher in the public school system.

Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bodkin Aldrich; and brother, Jack Aldrich.

Survivors include three sons, Charles E. Aldrich Jr. and wife, Dawn, of Rolling Meadows, Ill., John Aldrich of Rogers and Jim Aldrich and wife, Andrea, of Rogers; one daughter, Diane Penton and husband, Pat, of Fayetteville; one brother, David Allen Aldrich of Arlington Heights, Ill.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Beard's Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Zach Underwood officiating. Cremation will follow.

Memorials may be made to Willard Walker Hospice Home.

FAYETTEVILLE — Mary Frances Aldrich, 75, of Fayetteville died June 20, 2006, at Springdale Health and Rehab. She was born Nov. 9, 1930, in Maud, Okla., to Floyd L. and Bertie Gowin Bodkin.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Aldrich of the home; three sons, Charles E. Aldrich Jr. of Rolling Meadows, Ill., John David Aldrich of Springdale and James Michael Aldrich of Rogers; one daughter, Diane Lea Penton of Fayetteville; two brothers, Floyd Bodkin Jr. of Gentry and John Franklin Bodkin of Tulsa, Okla.; three grandchildren.

Services will be at 2. p.m. Friday at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, online at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be later in Fayetteville National Cemetery.
