January 20, 1882 - May 16, 1977
Mrs. Pearl Chambers Matthews, 95, of P. O. Box 63, Chidester, died Monday in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. D. W. Lambert officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Williams Services in charge. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Odell Cole of Jackson, Miss.; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
