The stone appears to read that Maudie died at 21 years of age. The cemetery index states she died at 2 years of age.
If indeed Maudie died at 21, here is some info on her: She was a dancer and one of the original 'English Rosebuds,' who were stage favorites. She left England to work on the stage and eventually went to Hollywood to find work to support her mother - still back in England. She worked her way from LA to Fort Smith all the while being ill from an operation that hadn't healed correctly. She was married to actor Frank Carl of "The Carl Brothers" and at one time narrowly escaped death in a Detroit fire.
