Mary Elizabeth Brooks Dinsmore (Mary Lib) died on August 13, 2019, at the age of 96. She was born in Charleston, West Virginia to Priscilla Mae Mullins and Dallas Leon Brooks. In 1946 she married David Wallace Dinsmore, who preceded her in death after 69 years.
Mary Lib was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, a faithful friend, a dedicated and active church member, a wonderful homemaker, a great cook, an accomplished seamstress, and an ardent bridge player. She most enjoyed talking to people, finding out about their lives, and doing kind things for them.
Mary Lib is survived by her daughter Susan D. Goldner and her husband, Charles W. Goldner, Jr.; her grandchildren Geoffrey Paul Goldner and Elizabeth G. Hubbard; and her great-grandson Zachary Alexander Hubbard, all of Little Rock.
There will be a service for the family in the prayer garden at Second Presbyterian Church. The family requests that any donations be made to the church (600 Pleasant Valley Dr. Little Rock, AR 72227) or to the Arkansas Foodbank (4301 W. 65th St. Little Rock, AR 72209).
