Fern Marie Berry Tullos, 84, of Camden, Mississippi (formerly of Lake Village, Arkansas) passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Madison County Nursing Home in Canton, Mississippi. She was born May 14, 1933 to the late Kelvy and Clarise Nixon Abbott. She was a member of Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Greenville, Mississippi. She was retired from Lake
Village Industries in Lake Village, Arkansas where she worked as a seamstress for 23 years.
Fern was proceeded in death by her parents and the love of her life, J.B. Berry.
Fern was survived by two sons, James Talkington Sr. and wife, Rita of Camden, Mississippi and Shannon Talkington Sr. and wife, Marilyn, of Lake Village, Arkansas; two brothers, Bill Abbott and wife, Betty and Monte Abbott and wife, Lucille; two sisters, Barbara Sue Abbott and Ann Hayes; seven grandchildren, Stacy Huggins and husband, Mike; Christy Matthews and husband, Todd; Jessica Boney and husband, Wesley; Shannon Talkington Jr. and wife Mary Ashley; Ethan Talkington, James Alvin Talkington Jr., and Nickole Lynn Talkington; and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10 am with funeral services following at 11 am at
Bishop- King Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Village, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Lake Village
Cemetery in Lake Village, Arkansas. Services are under the direction Bishop-King Funeral Home of
Lake Village, Arkansas.
A special thank you to the staff at Madison County Nursing Home in Canton, Mississippi for the
wonderful care shown to Fern during her time there.
