August 14, 1912 - December 18, 1976
Mrs. Amy Banks, 64, of 221 Wood St., died Saturday at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Bethel AME Church with the Rev. R. C. Haymon officiating. Burial will be in Seminary Cemetery under the direction of Williams Funeral Home. She was a member of the church and was on the Usher Board. Survivors include her husband, Harry Banks of Camden; her father, Rufus Johnson of Stephens; three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Hawkins and Mrs. Ressie Jones, both of Los Angeles, Calif. and Mrs. Alice Grigsby of Magnolia and two brothers, Earnest Johnson of California and Albert Johnson of Dallas, Tex.
