*When James Ellis Wright was born on February 2, 1873, in Arkansas, his father, James, was 30 and his mother, Mary, was 27. He married Hester Frances Gaines on December 24, 1901. They had five children in 16 years. He died on March 10, 1950, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 77, and was buried there.
