*When Jessie Eugenico Jones was born on January 6, 1901, in Bee Branch, Arkansas, her father, William, was 33, and her mother, Ella, was 21. She married Clarence Eugene Martin on September 1, 1920. They had two children during their marriage. She died on October 9, 1997, in San Bernardino, California, at the age of 96, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
