*When Laura Ellen Mann Woosley was born on August 10, 1874, in Searcy, Arkansas, her father, Joseph, was 59, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 34. She had two sons and five daughters with William David Woosley between 1891 and 1919. She died on February 23, 1963, in Pollock, Louisiana, at the age of 88, and was buried in her hometown.
