*Obituary
Sterling C. "Toad" Phillips, 90 of Searcy, Ark. passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009. Mr. Phillips was born in Searcy on Oct. 2, 1918 to the late Sterling and Ethel Phillips. He was a member of Honey Hill Christian Union Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in WWII. He loved working on his farm, raising cattle and sitting on his porch visiting with his family.
