Orean Sanders-Moss, 85 of Magnolia, AR., passed away October 6th in Glendale, AZ.

She was born April 12, 1932 in McNeil, AR to Lon and Clara Sanders.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Wilmar B. Moss, five sisters; Emma Broomfield, Orell Milner, Artie Burnell, Eunice Warren, Lessie McIntyre, & one brother; Willie Lee Johnson.

She accepted Christ at an early age at Bethany Baptist Church in McNeil, AR where she worked faithfully for many years. Mrs. Moss served as Church Librarian and President of the Mission Board.
She received a Bachelor Degree from UAPB, formerly known as Arkansas AM & N. She was an educator for almost thirty years, teaching elementary and high school, and headed many activities such as the 4-H Club. For many years, she loved to cater weddings and specialized in making Wedding Cakes. She was an avid gardener and all-around craft person, however, her very favorite thing was fishing.

Survivors include; three sons; Dwight E. Moss & wife BJ., Victor L. Moss, Gary D. Moss & wife Diane all of Phoenix, AZ. One daughter; Mrs. Wilma La Donna & husband Shawn of Lake Forest, CA. Three granddaughters; Ashley Weber & husband Oliver, Aria Cangelosi-Moss and Eliana Cangelosi-Moss. One sister; Thelma Cooper of Dayton, Ohio, a host of nieces, nephews, & a close friend Mrs. Margie O’Guinn of Strong, AR.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 21st at 1:00 p.m. at the Old St. Matthews Cemetery in McNeil, AR. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Williams.

No visitation has been scheduled.
