*When Merle S Helms was born on October 10, 1919, in Missouri, his father, Samuel, was 29 and his mother, Ada, was 27. He married Lovetrice Rolland on August 23, 1939, in Searcy, Arkansas. He died on November 11, 1995, in Cabot, Arkansas, at the age of 76, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
When Mary “Jo” Helms was born on September 28, 1925, in Roxton, Texas, her father, Hubert, was 32, and her mother, Ada, was 31. She had one son and one daughter with Jessie Madison “Bo” Brawner. She died on November 15, 1986, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 61, and was buried in White Settlement, Texas.
