Bobbie Joy Glenn Thomason of Hot Springs Village, AR. entered the presence of the Lord on May 28, 2012. She was the youngest of the ten children of Joseph Edgar Glenn and Flora Leigh Pruitt Glenn and the last surviving sibling.
Born October 04, 1925, in Marvell, AR, she graduated from Corinth High School, Corinth MS. and attended Flint Junior College in Flint, MI. She was married to Henry Moran Thomason for 58 years and has missed him for six years. Bobbie and Henry raised two daughters, Amy Thomason and Kate Thummel, in Arkansas for most of their years, then Henry's job took them overseas. Bobbie loved to tell stories of her adventures and she enjoyed entertaining guests at home. In addition to her two daughters, she is survived bt two grandchildren: Molly Sasajima; Scott Sasajima (Hailey) and their four daughters, Sierra, Savanna, Maddie and Bentlee. She is also survived by a grandcat, Tinkerbell and a granddog, Gracie.
Bobbie was a member of Woodlands Presbyterian Church in Hot Springs Village.
Bobbie was most proud of gathering all of her many nieces and nephews together over the past few years and reuniting far-flung family members. She treasured each of them.
A celebration of her life will be held at Woodlands Presbyterian Church on
Saturday, June 9th at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. James Farley officiating.
The family wishes to thank Arkansas Hospice and Bobbie's personal caregivers, Linda, Vanessa and Cynthia as well as Dr. Timothy Webb and Genesis Cancer Center; Drs. Martin Koehn, John Wayne Smith and William Cole.
