*When Luther Virginia Grimes was born on April 6, 1892, in Hoxie, Arkansas, his father, John, was 40 and his mother, Martha, was 20. He was married three times and had three sons and one daughter. He died on April 16, 1969, in Judsonia, Arkansas, at the age of 77, and was buried in Pangburn, Arkansas.
When Violet Reynolds was born on November 3, 1899, in Arkansas, her father, Alpheus, was 31, and her mother, Arnette, was 30. She married Luther Virginia Grimes on May 25, 1921. They had two children during their marriage. She died on June 23, 1982, in Judsonia, Arkansas, at the age of 82, and was buried in Pangburn, Arkansas.
