Wilbur Cordell, 53, of Decatur died Saturday, July 16, 1994, at his home. Born Sept. 25, 1940, at Phoenix, Ariz., the son of Earl Morgan Cordell and Dora Black Cordell, he was a caretaker for Peterson Industries in Decatur. He was a resident of Northwest Arkansas for the past six years, living the past three years in Decatur.
Survivors are his wife, Sally Lorene Castoe Cordell of the home; and a son, Carl Gene Groom of Waferford, Calif.
Service is at 2 p.m., Wednesday at the Glad Tidings Church in Decatur, with the Rev. Kenneth Payne officiating. Burial is in Decatur Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Sally Lorene Cordell, 70, of Norman, Oklahoma, died July 25, 2017, at Norman Regional Medical Center, Norman, Oklahoma. Born December 30, 1946, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of George Castoe and Sally Scholl Castoe. Sally married Wilbur Cordell in 1971. She was a cook for a nursing home and sorority house. Sally served our country in the Navy.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother.
Survivors include sisters Gretta Moore of Romona, Oklahoma and Peggy Spalding of Choctaw, Oklahoma; brother Monte Castoe and wife Jennifer of Edmond, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 28, 2017, at Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, Arkansas.
