June Loretta "Rhet" Norman, 72, of North Little Rock passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011. She was born June 5, 1939 in Little Rock, Arkansas. June was retired from the Ft. Roots Engineering Department and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Skip and Belinda Norman, and Robie and Heidrun Norman; Daughter Cris Naramore; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Norman.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 28, 2011, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Committal service will be held at 2:30 PM at the Henderson Cemetery in White County. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.

*When Jimmy Don "Big Jim" Norman was born on March 11, 1939, in Pangburn, Arkansas, his father, Clarence, was 34 and his mother, Maudie, was 30. He married June Loretta "Rhet" Robertson on July 20, 1957, in Searcy, Arkansas. They had three children during their marriage. He died on January 20, 2010, in Arkansas at the age of 70, and was buried in his hometown.
