*When Betty Jean Wilhelm was born on January 1, 1926, in Harrison, Arkansas, her father, Lowern, was 19, and her mother, Eva, was 22. She married William Ted Ross on September 15, 1943. They had two children during their marriage. She died on January 25, 1999, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 73, and was buried in Pangburn, Arkansas.
