November 3, 1938 - February 12, 2022
Marie Boyce, 83, of Searcy, passed from this life on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Unity Health. She was born November 3, 1938 at Parma, Arkansas a daughter of the late Robert and Dora Sullivan Long. She was of the Baptist faith and a retired CAN.
She is survived by her children, Candy Hill (Gerald, Verna Converse (Frank), Eddie Sparks (Debra), Billy Sparks (Tammy) and Carla Britton (Paul); siblings, Mabel Sandstrum, Johnny Long, Carl Long, Jimmy Long and Brenda Mason; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles Long, Robert Long, Melvin Long, Thomas Long and Jerry Wayne Long; sisters, Minnie Botoff and Gracie Long.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pangburn House of Prayer with Bro. Charles Jones and Bro. Tim Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow in the Henderson Cemetery.
