October 24, 1933 - January 12, 2015
Bobbie Lou Hoover, 81, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away January 12, 2015. She was born October 24, 1933 in Malvern, Arkansas to William and Lettia (Wilson) Galloway. Bobbie was a member of First Assembly of God for 42 years. She enjoyed crocheting and participating in arts and craft fairs. She greatly loved her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Galloway, Jr.; sisters, Dovie Bost, Lillian Fitzhugh and great-granddaughter, Madison Hoover.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Marvin Hoover; sons, Russell Hoover, Tim Hoover; sisters, Patsy Bailey, Loretta Hughes (Pete); grandchildren Spencer, Jake, and Mitchell Hoover.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
Service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God, with Pastor Larry Burton and Pastor David Meeks officiating.
Burial will follow at Rockport Cemetery in Malvern.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Hoover, Jake Hoover, Mitchell Hoover, Chris Bailey, Britt Hughes, and Bryan Horton.
Honorary pallbearers include Susan and Jerry Keith, and the Gleaners Sunday School Class, Angela Lindsey and Teresa Childs.
