*When Hazel Redmon Reaves (Staggs) was born on August 28, 1906, in Pangburn, Arkansas, her father, Andrew, was 40, and her mother, Mary, was 30. She married Romey Edward Staggs on October 31, 1931. She died on July 25, 1989, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 82, and was buried in her hometown.
