Ruth O. Gough, 78, of Judsonia, died Friday, March 6, 2015 at the White County Medical Center in Searcy. She was born June 5, 1936 in Tupelo to the late Henry and Margaret Ellen (Spear) Williams.
Ruth was a member of the Clearwater Missionary Baptist Church. She loved cooking and gardening. Her home was always open to anyone and everyone; feeding others was something she enjoyed. Her grandkids were very important and she loved spending time with them.
She is survived by her son, Mitchel Gough and his wife Patricia of Bald Knob; grand children, Jeremy Gough and wife Lesley of Bald Knob, Sarah Cannon and husband Michael of Desha and great-grandkids Haylee and Jacob; daughter, Margaret Froud and husband Winston; grandchildren, Chad Froud and wife Beverly and Chase Froud and wife Briana; great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Lauren and Evan all of Judsonia; one brother, Willard Williams of Judsonia; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Fred Gough and 7 siblings.
Visitation will be Sunday, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Services will be conducted Monday, 11:00 a.m., at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob. Interment will follow in the Henderson Cemetery.
