Donna Kay Hicks, 74, of Sevierville, Tennessee passed away on September 15, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Ms. Hicks was born to the late Clarence L. and Cleo Armstrong Carter in Pueblo, Colorado on October 5, 1944. Donna was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Martin Hicks on March 7, 2004.

She continued her education following High School until she received her Master's Degree in Gerontology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Donna was a lifelong active and faithful member of the Church of God. No matter where she lived, she found a Church of God and made it her home. She spent the last fifteen years serving the residence of the Spirit Care Center in Sevierville. Part of her service there was direct Mission Work for the church by making Arts and Crafts and selling them to raise money for Mission Projects of the church.

She loved to travel and in 2018 she was able to travel to Israel and she enjoyed be able to take some cruises with one being to Alaska. The thing that brought her the most joy was to be able to spend time with her family and her friends.

Ms. Hicks is survived by: daughter, Sharele and husband Donald Spear and their daughters Amber and Alexis; sons, Dean and wife Kathie Hicks and their children Carolettia and Ray; Bryan and wife Lynnae and their sons Micah, Zackery, Aaron and Ryan. Her Children by choice, Rebecca and husband Daniel Duran and their daughters, Danielle, Kayla and Daelin. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
