*When Vilula Day Pearson was born on June 22, 1877, her father, I, was 28, and her mother, Luesa, was 27. She married John Alex Altom on April 4, 1897. They had six children in 17 years. She died on November 13, 1953, at the age of 76, and was buried in Pangburn, Arkansas.
