Melba Ruth (Albright) Morgan, 88, of Alma passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013 in Peachtree Hospice/Sparks in Fort Smith, AR. She was born August 3, 1924 in Mulberry, AR to Phenis and Calcie (West) Albright. She was a lifelong resident of Crawford County and a graduate of Alma high School. She married Leonard "Ray" Morgan May 6, 1944. She retired from Allen Canning in Van Buren and was a faithful member of Alma First Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ray, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include two sons, Dennis Morgan and wife Phyllis of Mountainburg, AR and David Morgan and wife Jeannie of Rudy, AR; 6 grandchildren, Michael Morgan of Alma, Colby Morgan and wife Jennifer of Greenwood, AR; Davena Morgan of Alma, Dorinda Hansen and husband Dustin of Tulsa, Cameron Morgan of Van Buren, and Kristopher Morgan of Montana. She leaves 5 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Raylie, Amelia, Raegan and Oliver. Melba loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 19th, 2013, 2:00pm at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Morgan, Noah Johnson, James Albright, Marty Albright, Colby Morgan and Cameron Morgan.
