Eugene Hodapp, 76, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, April 23, 2008, in Fort Smith. He was born Oct. 4, 1931, in Sioux City, Iowa. He was retired from Forsgren Construction, former railroad employee, a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Van Buren and the widower of Ida Hodapp. Graveside service will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. He is survived by two sons, Keith Hodapp of Mansfield and Robert Hodapp of Van Buren; a brother, Jerry Hodapp of Merrill, Iowa; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joseph and Robert Hodapp Jr., Dustin Byrd, Patrick Forslund and Trey Densmore.

Ida Mae Hodapp, 76, of Fort Smith died Thursday, March 6, 2008, in Fort Smith. She was born March 28, 1931, in Iowa. She was a homemaker and a member of Van Buren Church of the Nazarene. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. She is survived by two sons, Keith Hodapp of Mansfield and Robert Hodapp of Van Buren; a sister, Frances Bos of North Carolina; a brother, Vernon Ewin of Hope; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert Hodapp Jr., Jason Silverstein, Joseph Hodapp, Trey Densmore, Dustin Byrd and Justin Loomis.
