Sarah Jane Ellison, 69, of Alma died Sunday, May 23, 2004, in a local hospital. She was born May 16, 1935, in Harmony. She was a member of Crosslane Baptist Mission Church, a former employee of Therma-Tru and the widow of Norman Ellison.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Ocker Funeral Home Chapel in Alma with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma. She is survived by two daughters, Renda Loeffler of Warner Robins, Ga., and Brenda Dinwiddie of Kibler; five sons, Larry, Billy, Stanley and Albert Ellison, all of Kibler, and Jerry Ellison of Van Buren; her mother, Lenny Willis of Kibler; three sisters, Shirley Corbin of Altomont, Ill., Renda King and Kay Ellison, both of Van Buren; two brothers, Benny and David Willis, both of Kibler; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Charles and Bobby Willis, C.J. Doengi, Carl Sears, Randy Arnold and Tony Richie.
