Jack Lawrence Deane, 80, of Barling, AR, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in a local hospital.
He was born July 2, 1931 in Everett, WA.

He was a maintenance man for Arkansas Poly Bag in Van Buren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rosie and a son, Brian Deane.

He is survived by a daughter, Jackie O'Neal of Van Buren, AR; a son Charles Deane of Fort Smith, AR; three sisters, Winifred Crowley of Everett, WA., Donna Sheller of Everett, WA, and Delores DeMonbrun of Everett, WA.; a brother, George Deane of Everett, WA and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Justin Jones, Morgan Evanishyne, Mark Potteroff and Anthony Allen.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren, AR with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Rosie B. Deane, 71, of Barling died Sunday, June 1, 2008, in Fort Smith. She was born Nov. 20, 1936, in White Rock community. She was a homemaker, a den mother for the Boy Scouts, and she loved arts, crafts and gardening. She is preceded in death by a son, Brian Deane. She is survived by her husband, Jack of the home; one daughter, Jackie Freeman of Mountainburg; one son, Charles Deane of Fort Smith; four sisters, Gerri Foster of Missouri, Erma Hill of Tontitown, Barbara Angela of Washington and Diane Goodwin of Colorado; two brothers, John Griffin of Clarksville and Otis Griffin of South Carolina; and four grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be members of her family and her friends.
