Roy Jack Atkins, age 60 years, of Farmington(Washington County), Arkansas, died Monday, February 4, 2008, in his home.
He was born in California and was a retired truck driver for Dan Marr Trucking. Roy was of Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife: Carol; two daughters: Deanna Cole of Van Buren, Arkansas and Jackie Creason of Parkhill, Oklahoma; two sons: Todd Atkins of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and James Atkins of Alma, Arkansas; two stepdaughters: Jenifer Ming of Van Buren, Arkansas and Tracy Cabellero of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two stepsons: Bill Aden of Van Buren, Arkansas and Tom Perkins of Iraq; his mother: Alice Atkins of California; a sister: Ann Salem of California; 9 grandchildren; 7 stepgrandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Chris and Clayton Cole, Randy and Robbie Cockerll, Setve Graham, and Mike Beyerle.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 7, 2008, at 2:00pm at Ockr Funeral Home Chapel in Alma, Arkansas. Burial was held at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma, Arkansas.

Jamie Mae Atkins, 69, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away on March 29, 2018.
She was born November 23, 1948 in San Fernando, California.
She worked for Legacy Heights and was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Helen (Stark) Barnett, her late husband Jack Atkins, two sisters; Glennis Thomas and Elizabeth Stooker and one grandson Joseph Cole.
She is survived by two daughters; Deanna Cole (Floyd) of Van Buren, Jackie Gwinn of Tahlequah, two sons; Todd Atkins of Siloam Springs and James Atkins of Van Buren, one sister Martha Martin of North Ridge, CA, eleven grandchildren; Christopher Cole (Crystal), Clayton Cole (Lynnesey), Paige Kotsilimpa (Dion), Dillon Atkins, Jax Atkins, Knox Atkins, Summer Atkins, Stormi Thomas, Michael Barley, Jeremy Cole and Taylor Atkins, and seven great-grandchildren; Caleb Cole, Cason Cole, Klair Klohlman, Conner Atkins, Ragen Thomas, Lane Jones and Breck Cole.
Memorial Service officiated by Rev. DeWayne Hicks will be 11:00 am Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel 4817 Kelley Hwy Fort Smith, Arkansas
